Publisher's Description

Transfz (pronounced transfuse) is a integrated search agent in the form of a context menu that allows the user to launch online searches from any document or application on both the desktop and the web. Supports powerful extensions: Search and Replace, UPPER case, HTML insert, etc. Use the build-in Plugin Creator to easily allow your favorite search engine to become a omnipresent standard in your desktop/web experience. Finally Transfz also contains a clipboard list of the last 5-30 items copied.

I rarely write a review, but this time i think this app is a real achievement on user interface and merits all my appreciation. I always thought something had to be done to make things simpler, easier, and faster. This is THE WAY to do it. Keep the good work, you are doing fine!

@minasinahanmetehe, Transfz does allow manual input, press: 'alt-d' to activate the Searchbox.

@Crispy777, thanks :)

Good program, works fine.
Only 4 points, because it does not let to add search strings manually as
http://www.cleverkeys.com
which is simpler and works fine too.

What about feeding searches to applications in the PC, like X1, TheSage, WordNet, Find file etc..

Perfect! Five stars! Congratulations to the creator of this program. This will speed up my work a lot! A Big thank you!!!

And the fact that it is greenware and you will buy trees for the donated money makes you and this program worth six stars.

Yes, false positive, I have reported it to McAfee. I'll have a thread updated on the Transfz forum on the issue - http://www.transfz.com/forum.php

@Rabelais,
As the author of the program I can assure you that Transfz does NOT contain any spyware/adware/malware or anything else evil (I mean, I should know.. I compiled it yesterday!). Actually I just got this from Softpedia in my mail this morning - they have done their own scans and found what was expected: No evilness :)

I also use Avast, but it found the installer, the installed files, and my memory after the installation to be perfectly clean.

The program works even better than I had expected, is highly extensible, and is freeware.

My anti-virus programme (Avast) prevents the installation of Transfz because of the presence in it of the worm Sohanad-I! Is this a deliberate intrusion attempt from Transfz' s author or has his file been hacked?

When a submission does what it says it'll do, without conflicts, I rate the authors' effort a 5.
The puplisher describes the softwares features - you decide if it is usefull to you.
I was concerned that it might interfere with my favorite clipboard extender (ClipX), but that wasn't the case. I look forward to further development and maybe some more features.

Top notch little app.
Easy creation of extensions and plug-ins means that Transfz can be customized to fit whatever surfing habits you have.

Craz (pronounced Crap). Pointless programme as far as I can see, but maybe you'll like it.

The idea behind Greenware got me even more interested in Transfz.

This is a totally sweet program. It's easy to use and very helpful - actually I've already become so glad with it that it feels really weird when using a comp without it! :)

I like this program very much. As a developer (mostly PHP) I quickly (about 30 seconds) wrote a plugin which lookup a PHP function in the manual when I select the name with the mouse and press CTRL + P - Saves me so much time! And the search funtion is great too, now I don't even need my Google toolbar anymore :)

EDIT: seems like a Download Manager issue actually.

Seems like grreat concept, but download link crashes IE(vista)-- both here and homepage...

Note: Switched to OPera and able to download fine.

PS will post some usage notes later.
