Trend Micro Anti-Virus and PC-cillin Internet Security 2006 are excellent products. After a year of running a sluggish system using Kasparsky AV, I am awed by how fast and responsive my system is with TM AV. Updates and scans are automatic (scheduled) and fast! Enough said!

Two things I like about Trend Micro — they keep things simple and they're inexpensive. Unlike other AV software that takes over your system, you won't notice this once you set it up.

If I simply trust Trend Micro to let it remove the supposed threat of BHO.DLL, it disables a legitimate SnagIt add-on! By using Trend Micro I’ve suddenly and inadvertantly disabled several perfectly legitimate programs in one security pass. When these apps stop working, will other users connect the dots? Or will they think that the spyware they removed from their system had done even more damage than they thought?
You guessed right. This version of Trend Micro fails on all counts.

Have never had a problem with virus updates being old with this product. I sometimes get 4-5 updates a week and am glad this vendor doesn't just update 1 time a week like others do.
