Publisher's Description

V is a combination file viewer and directory browser. It is an invaluable utility for anybody who spends much time navigating directories and viewing files. For those who prefer to work in DOS Boxes, it provides a fast and convenient way of viewing files - just type V Filename and the file is right in front of you. There is no need to switch to Explorer and certainly no need to fumble with a File Open Dialog Box.

It's begining to look like you either love it or hate it! For me, it's one of the first, if not THE first app I install on a PC. I couldn't be without it.

There are so many better file navigation programs than this. Horrible buggy program.

I do not use most of the features (and there are plenty) but for the one I use the most; search through huge files, search files through directory tree for specific data, view in hex, wrap text, FileViewer has proven to be a time saver utility.

V is a primarily a file viewer. Find the biggest file on your computer and open it in V. Now hit Ctrl-End. It handles HUGE files with out a problem and the search function is impressively fast too. For me, its the best at what it does...

V is just another unusable filemanager..

Small and very fast. This is a niche program that absolutely excels at what it does. As a programmer I need to find files, view (text files, within zips), edit and move them around the network.
I've tried many (including wincmd) and as far as I'm concerned V IS way ahead of anything else.
