I'm wondering what privileges are required. On my phone, all I had to do was add the app. On my PC all I had to do was give it my phone number, It's more stable than skype on both my phone and my PC, 5 stars

Most of the messaging apps for phones require far too many privileges to be trustworthy.
Skype has become one big ad delivery system so I am looking for something new on PC but this sure as hell won't be it.

I like the convenience of not having to use my phone. I already had it installed on it, so that part was not an issue and making "free calls" to Europe, which I do often is a real plus.

Not working without installed on phone first. How about if have unsupported or old type of phone? Calls really not a free need a pay for data usage, in several countries is much more expensive way than make normal phone call

You can't use it unless you install it on your phone and it gets all your contacts info.
Doesn't feel honest and comfortable.
Avoid-ware.
