VidLizard is a multimedia player of DVD, video (DIVX, AVI, MPEG, ASF), Audio CDs and audio (MP3, WAV, MID) files for Windows. The program is rather small in size (900Kb in archive) and optimized for quick launch and minimum load on the system. It has full DVD support (third-party codec required), easy-to-use DVD navigation menu, DVD title and chapter management, DVD subtitle support, and has maximal functionality of hardware DVD players. But VidLizard, unlike hardware DVD players, can play DVD movies from any folder of hard disk.

Why bother with so many good players for free. It wouldn't even play a file using ffdshow. Good luck to the developer.
