I guess it's "ok" seems to do what it says. I don't know how hard of a stability test that little rotating globe in a small window is. Could only detect my video card's series, not the exact chipset.

Screen saver was very disappointing. I expected a full screen globe, not the same tiny globe. Looks kind of silly on a big high resolution monitor.

Bobbichin-> I got a full screen globe. Either your FPS is a mistake or you have an amazing system.

Interesting. Useful tool for checking if your basic setup is working though the CPU has a huge part in the FPS so you need to compare systems not just cards. This is mentioned but it seems "SEND" only passes the CPU info and the fact that it's Windows. Actually it says "WIN x86: 5.1" so perhaps the "5.1" identifies it as MCE? Anyway..

Still, I scored "374" (FPS average) which was in line with other ATI HD3870 cards.

Futuremark has an awesome tool called PCMark but it's not free. I think there are other similar tools around. It would be nice if Microsoft had a basic tool as part of Windows as part of an automated diagnostic that verified your system was performing as it should be.

Anyway, not bad for free and worked fine for:

Athlon X24800+,
MCE 2005 SP3
ATI(AMD) HD3870 512MB

Start does start but after 20mins there was no end in site for the 20min test.

It rated my card at 254 but it has no idea what card I am running.

Exit starts the program cacheing to redo the test.
EXIT means exit guys!

Also with the uninstall your still left with the folder to go in and delete. POOR!

I have never ever rated a program as garbage but this one is that.
Do not bother with this BS as I can not see it getting any better, it is the worst I have seen ever.

Said I have a 7600GT video card when I have 2 7800GTs. Says I have an Intel 915GM mobile video card too. To send results it opened up outlook, I use gmail. Gave me a 213 video system rating. According to the benchmark's web site this is normal for an Intel 915GM mobile video card. According to FRAPS my average FPS during the test was 140fps.
The Screensave is nice.
