Vista is very stable!
I run it on 5 computers and zero crashes...
you must have bad hardware.....

obiwan shenobi: Vista is already an unstable system, so this one little hack won't make things not work or make it any more unstable than it already is. I agree with the other reviews in that MS knows that users like to change things to their liking, they should just include it. If they had had that thinking for the Vista deployment, it may not have gotten such horrendous reviews or reception. this app works good for me, and I was able to do some things that I always wanted to. It also has a remove feature so if the system destabilizes, you can undo your work.

This hacks your system files to make themes work. This can lead to system instability, and many problems. Stay away.
And, Windows 7 does not allow you to use unsigned themes.

TC17, they have finally listened for Windows 7, in which you can in fact use your own unsigned themes.

Works good. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't just allow you to make/use your own themes without having to use some hack. I assume they must have some "deal" with the guy who makes WindowBlinds.

unlocks Vista so that you can use custom skins (similar to StyleXP)
why doesnt Microsoft allow user created skins, why lock it in the first place AND then not release any new skins

I am giving this a 5 because it does what its supposed to but its rather useless was expecting it to make the entire window transparent not just the topbar....should have probably read the directions. oh well.
