My actual score for this junk is 0.
Many sites are rated by 12-year-old kids playing with their mommies computer.
The results cannot be trusted.
Bitdefender TrafficLight and other utilities from reputable antivirus vendors are a much better solution.

You are relying on others to determine a sites safety. The problem is this program could be installed by morons & ape like users. I'm starting to find the results of this are that safe sites are shown as un-safe & vice-versa. It was good but I'm removing it now. This is not ‘WOT's’ fault, just morons & gorillas.

Excellent freeware add on.
It is not spyware and it is based on user ratings (it is not a crawler, in other words) and several Trusted Sources in order to fight even "non techical" security (eg: social engeneering)
Some people do not even bother to read WOT F.A.Q and WOT wiki, evidently;)

This software has become more of a problem than a solution. It's giving false warnings and showing sites as safe when they aren't.

Certainly, "nothing at all on the internets is to be trusted." [sic] Except for the sites you do trust, and there have to be some or you wouldn't use the internets at all. Also, trust is not black and white, it's a sliding scale. Of course.
Please name the "better solutions".

For anybody that is even marginally savvy this isn't going to help all that much and there are some better solutions. But considering it's price (free) and relatively easy to use interface, I like it for people like my parents. No matter what I do or say I can't seem to get it through to them that nothing at all on the internets is to be trusted. Even though I have them using WOT in FF it's nice to see that it's available for IE as well. Hopefully it will mean more accurate ratings on sites, which is sometimes a bit suspect these days.
