This is well old & it's no longer supported.
Use windowblinds instead.

When having problems you should post to Stardock's news server at news.stardock.com, group stardock.webblinds, with information on the problem and your system and they should be able to solve it quickly..

oh my gawd! they actually updated it! This is the first update since like November 1999. I guess they see that their idea of putting the PC on the backburner in favor of the dreamcast was wrong. I understand their reasonings, but they still stabbed alot of believers in the back for that. I dont even know if I have the disk still.

I love this program. I've been looking for a program like this for ages! If you don't want to use WebBlinds to skin Internet Explorer. I have the answer. Download a program called Restorator or eXeScope. Once you've done that open them and find the file called 'BrowseUI.dll', it's loacated in the System folder in your WinDir. Expand the tree called Bitmaps and look for 265 and 266. These are the large bitmap files for explorer. You can extract them, once you've changed them import them again and save 'BrowseUI.dll' as another name then reboot to DOS and overwrite the exsisting 'BroweUI.dll' with your modified version.

Honestly, I don't know what everyone else is doing wrong :). WebBlinds works great on my computer, and it's only 200 MHz! The only thing that bugs me is the buttons and menus ficker a little when I mouseover them. But you have to expect that, since IE was never meant to be skinned in the first place.

Seems a little unstable - but then it is a beta. I found it impossible to load with W98 but it seemed much happier with WME. Not a fantastic choice of skins right now but those that are available work well. With more choices available I'd give it a 5 but due to the paucity of choice I'll go for a 4.

Great for a beta. Faster on IE than WindowBlinds is. The alpha blended throbbers are really cool!

Ok, before you start SHIFT+CLICK'n to surf your pr0n, make sure you disable WebBlinds. I have 256MB, 850Mhz, GeForce2 32MB and man did it get bad. Try going to any page that you know of that has a lot of links, start SHIFT+CLICKing and you shall see what I mean.. good thing it has a VERY EASY way to "Disable WebBlinds". The skin selection.. well, download an apply, would be nice if it was on the fly. Prog gets a 5 though.. because it's freeware and it's pretty cool overall.
