WinJab is a Jabber designed to run in any Windows environment. Jabber is an open source instant messaging architechture being built on top of XML. Jabber clients have the capability to communicate with users of other instant messaging systems (AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, etc..) as well as other communication systems like IRC.

this program has come a long way in the last couple of versions, the stability has improved dramaticly. the transports have improved to provide access to all your favorite chat systems. plus development on Blogging and news delivery has improved too. great program and open source so support this movement and give it a try

a good program, but lacks some basic functionality. buggy, too.
