Was surprised a somewhat newer version came out in 2018. Thought they were kaput back like 2010. In either case this version works just as good at the previous. Its still the defacto music player I use at home or at parties. Just hook my laptop to my old receiver and its jam time. Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. I've installed this on multiple pc's and laptops with not a glitch of any kind. Probably the only software from my youth that I still use..

I still love Winamp but this latest Beta has a ton of issues. Hope they improve it and also think its about time that we see newer updated Codecs, Plugins and DSP Shoutcast....

There is only 1 the Ability to search your play list which is hand when
Streaming with Shoutcast for Request/
Cons: When trying to use Shoutcase 2.3.5 the Ability to stream in AAC is gone with this Build of Winamp.
The Playlist Editor wont Stay Locked in place. Every Time when its opened
the Playlist Editor moves random position. Same when minimized and maximized.
The Audio Clips bad and the Compression Limiter even when off sounds like its dropping Audio Dynamics.
Bad Latency When Streaming with Shoutcast 2.3.5 DSP
Some of the Plugins that worked Flawless in 5.66 Builds crashes the Winamp 5 Full 5.8 Build 3660/
When Upgrading to Winamp 5 Full 5.8 Build 3660 it dumps a lot of the previous configurations plugins etc.
Bottom Line: I still love Winamp but this latest Beta has a ton of issues. Hope they improve it and also think its about time that we see newer updated Codecs, Plugins and DSP Shoutcast....

Going to miss Winamp updates. Can recall only one that malfunctioned that had to be uninstalled. Have used it since Win95 days. Also used the ASIO Winamp plugin with good results.

If this is it for Winamp, well at least it goes out on top. Still a great software. As for the reviewer anti spam, you are a spammer. Posting your spamming website while giving every software review 1 star is just plain low.
