Service Pack 2 (SP2) provides the latest updates to the Windows 2000 family of operating systems. These updates are a collection of fixes in the following areas: setup, application compatibility, operating system reliability, and security issues. Microsoft recommends that customers review the available documentation and determine whether to install SP2. Windows 2000 SP2 contains a rollup of all regression-tested security fixes to Windows 2000. Microsoft has not included any new features in Windows 2000 SP2. This release is for Chinese (Simplified) language versions of Windows 2000.
