Publisher's Description
Service Pack 2 (SP2) provides the latest updates to the Windows 2000 family of operating systems. These updates are a collection of fixes in the following areas: setup, application compatibility, operating system reliability, and security issues. Microsoft recommends that customers review the available documentation and determine whether to install SP2. Windows 2000 SP2 contains a rollup of all regression-tested security fixes to Windows 2000. Microsoft has not included any new features in Windows 2000 SP2.
This is the Express install which takes up much less space than the full Network install. The 554KB installer only downloads the necessary updates for your version of Windows 2000, using between 10MB and 30MB of hard drive space.

Load of pants!
It breaks Active Directory Users and Computers, it break exchange 5.5
What's good about that? it's Microsoft usual rushed release of untested tripe.

SP2 fixes a load of problems, and slightly speeds up Windows 2000. If you have however a broadband connection, i suggest downloading the whole 101mb pack, in case you change something in the system configuration. tom!
