Great small file sharing community. So far it has a small cult following. Advantage of XS is you can search with a files checksum, resulting in files that match.

I have been testing since the begginning of the Client's life. I have seen alot of people come while this program has grown. I will have to say that if you don't try it soon, you would be crazy. It is getting better and better as the releases come out.

I have been testing xs for awhile now. Its still in alpha stages. I can assure you that we do have no leeches on this hub. However, we do allow people to download and share files freely. One other note xs does not spread viruses to other users.
This is to ZzDr.Fred I do know u run a hub for fileshare. I can only conclude this is why you would say this about xs. So sure you can bad mouth xs all you want, but the truth of the matter is its funny how I never really even seen you on xs. And if you were on the hub you were not for very long.
But like I said I can assure you that xs is not a leechers hub. Its nice to have a little competition even though xs is still in alpha. I happen to like fileshare btw.

ZzDr.Fred.. I've been sharing on XS for about an hour now, there's only 17 people on-line but the program doesn't seem bad.. the only person who's downloaded off me asked first! and several people have told me to help myself to their files and they're sharing a fair bit too... conclusion.. your comment should be deleted, it's totally misrepresenting this program, no viruses or leechers, just some helpful users and a few minor bugs so far. If I find things are different, I'll post a follow-up but it certainly isn't anywhere near as bad as you're making out! I think it's worth 3/5 right now due to bugs, fix those and make it automatically find other sources and resume automatically and I'll give it a 4. ;) - don't forget to allow it connect to several hubs at once if the network grows, DC++ is cool for that.

This is one of the most wonderful file sharing clients I've seen. It's full of options, the GUI is clean and easy to use, and generally shows much promise. Nice, professional looking P2P network. I hope for this network to become big moreso than any of the other new comers.

Hi I just wanted to say that in the latest version as of January 17, 2003. The folder browsing has been implemented into the XS client as you can see in this video. http://www.angelfire.com/super2/kazaa/reworked.avi (just right-click and "save as" or use a download manager to save it to your hard drive."
Due to limitations with my processor speed i had take this video with the program minimised so that I could get it into the screencapture area...This led to the quality of the capture being poor and caused some 'choppiness' with the demo..but as you can see it works and works well. even for a dial-up user like me.
Thanks

Big improvement over the last release, seems fairly bug free now and the UI is smoother.. but still needs DC++'s features.. so for now.. still 4/5.

It now appears to have a similar browse system to DC and a few other things that were missing from older releases (features that are in DC). Definite improvement over old versions, main features needed now are those from DC++.
