GUI is poor
and the install file size is 4.1mb

Compaired to Opera browser which is 3.4mb.

Not a "bad" program, but the user interface is not friendly to say the least. The lack of font support is astounding — for Vishnu's sake, let's eradicate courier new from the planet.

Does "and more" include GPG support ? If it doesn't it's an instant go-go. The interface seems to resemble OE, but that doesn't mean it's better. For me it absolutely can not replace Thunderbird in any way I could imagine.

I found this client to have some nice features, having said this I must argue that the interface is not user friendly especially to new users. I agree with the previous reviewer re; HTML options. One would hope the final is less confusing to naviagte.

Using XP Pro. Would not import my existing Outlook Express email (although it said it would), would not import my Address Book in CSV format, although it said it would. Since I have many addresses and emails from over the years, I stopped right there and uninstalled it.

Nice free mail client. If Forte Agent News Reader did not have an e-mail client built in, I believe I would use Yamc!. (I assume Yamc! is a temporary name until the author can decide on a real name) Anyway, Yamc! looks a lot like OE, and appears to be a fairly close clone of same. This is not a derigatory remark. OE is a competent e-mail client. Just the news reader part is aweful, and of course it's firmly anchored into the OS. One thing that I downgraded Yamc!for is the HTML issue. Mail clients should have a choice right up front whether to turn HTML ON or OFF, along with an explanation of whether or not to use it. That way newbies could decide whether it is appropriate to use HTML or plain text, and not send HTML by accident. I am in the plain text camp. I believe it's rude to post e-mail or news in HTML. Back to Yamc!. It's definitely worth a try, and should insulate newbies and forgetful oldbies from VB script worms and such. Keep up the good work guys! Nice client! (bobad@charter.net)
