Why should I use Yahoo! SiteBuilder if I can use NVU?
This one is not yet half as good.

for the record they are at version 2.6 as shown here http://help.yahoo.com/l/...webhosting/sitebuilder2/

and will likely never make it to 3 since they are in the beta testing phase of their web based version. http://us.rd.yahoo.com/s...der/webstart/index.html

I quite agree. It looks like some application from the turn of the century or earlier. Still, it's cheaper than Dreamweaver or even FrontPage ... I suppose you get what you pay for.

Why does Yahoo bundle an old version of the Java Runtime (v5u2) with this? Also, install fails on Vista as it cannot create a folder it needs. Very slick!

It need many improvements to become really good html editor/ website builder.

we better use frontpage or dreamweaver with some additional templates.

yahoo need to make it more flexible and more features.

This is one of the least imaginative automated website creation applications. The templates, stock images, and general structure of the sites is embarrassingly dated.
