All these toolbars should be outlawed... There isn't any point in having them... and they reak havoc on your registry when deciding to remove them. Yahoo especially.

Says what it does and does what it says. If you don't want it, don't download it, plain and simple. This is a review site - REVIEW. You people tend to use this word 'bloated' without logic. This is called ignorance.
The toolbar is cake for anybody with an IQ. It's got everything for those with actual yahoo accounts. What you consider bloated, I consider a shortcut. If you have dialup, how bout you fix your credit or financial situation (a.k.a, get an education/job) and get DSL at least. I mean come on, it's super pathetic when you complain about the icons on the toolbar loading up.
Once you sign in, everything is available at mouseclick on your toolbar and it's pretty customizeable. The anti-spy tool rocks and manages to rip and root out stuff that MS Antispyware sometimes tends to leave behind.
If you're paranoid about progtams/etc tracking your internet behavior - bonk yourself on the head for buying a PC and then unplug it and pack it away until you realize that EVERYTHING tracks your behavior. Unless you're a sicko looking at child porn, there's no need to be paranoid.
The toolbar is for people who USE yahoo services. If you don't then obviously, get something else. As you said, there are tons of them out there. Leave this one for people who benefit from it and stop discouraging people for no good reason.

Do your fellow travellers a favour and remove this piece of semi-spyware junk from any Cybercafe terminals you use. It seems they all have it, and it's a pain in the a** having to wait for the icons to load live over a slow connection. Is it too hard to put a shortcut to Yahoo Mail on the desktop or toolbar? And if you want to search from the Toolbar, use Google.
1. Don't install it.
2. Uninstall it wherever you see it.
3. While you're at it, change the homepage to blank.

Just what we need, another toolbar...
If these companies had their way, my 1600x1200 resolution monitor would be all toolbar and no browser.
If I MUST use a extra toolbar, it would be the Google, it's unobtrusive, and not bloated.

A little too bloated for my liking. I'll stick with a tweaked down Google bar.
3 for including an antispy & effort.

Ironic how the toolbar that tracks where you go on the web (when you're signed in) helps you remove spyware. I've installed it once just for the AntiSpy and removed the toolbar immediately. You can still keep the AntiSpy program without the toolbar. That's why I gave it a 3.

Other than the fact that the toolbar crashes IE every time I close IE, it is pretty useless other than the Anti-Spy. Hahaha ... laugh it off. That's what I did when I heard Yahoo made an Anti-Spy, and then I installed it and ran it and it found several things other programs like Ad-aware, SpyBot, SpywareBlaster missed including 2 keyloggers. And yes they were real keyloggers you cynics out there. I can't say much for the Toolbar, but the Anti-Spy I will keep, just for that.
