I just got rid of it again. After setting the options it seemed to be quite good, but, as before once you restart the computer and it comes up again, you'll find that all of your settings have to be reset again. Sorry for the long run-on sentence. Anyway, I'll not be installing it again. I've done it too many times and have been disappointed every time. Good bye, YoWindow.

What am I missing here? If you want to know what is going on out the window why not simply LOOK out the window?

I'm going to try this version. I've used it in the past and those versions became unstable after a time and I uninstalled them. We'll see if this version is any better.

My experience - exciting concept. disappointing implementation.
It looks nice on the surface, but it simply didn't cut it. There were two things that attracted me - nice graphics and weather reporting. Once installed, I tried to add new locations and was stopped at two with a message indicating that two is the limit with the free version. Ok. Then I tried to change the picture by selecting a different option, but the list of pics only listed the current one. Disappointing. As the option even exists, I presume the paid version has more pics, but there was no message indicating this.
But the real deal breaker with this is that it rarely updates the weather, even using the manual refresh. Perhaps all-day accurate weather reporting only comes with the paid version. I don't know.
Easy enough to uninstall tho, if you want to give it a try yourself. Good luck.
