YsTail provides the basic functionality of the Unix tail command as well as new features such as eventlog viewing and keyword matching. It is optimized to let you monitor huge files over a dialup connection as will as local and network files. Keyword matching has been added to show or hide lines that have keywords.

This is a great program for monitoring error logs. I have been looking for something like this to notify me of errors that occur on the web servers, that I am responsible for. This program is easy to use, I just have it run in the system tray, and beep when an error is logged. It has allowed me to be on top of the errors, and I no longer have to remember to check the error logs. This is a great helper for anyone who has to monitor error logs, and know when they occur.
