I keep using the old Music Match Jukebox 9, a free and much easier media player which keeps always away from the internet even when you edit your files, something that IMHO is rather an advantage and a guarantee for my music files.

It is the best program for finding lyrics and cover arts for iPhones and iPod.

Several years back I thought this was the best tagging app around. But it fails to address my single biggest issue: setting "Album Artist" tags, and despite numerous requests in his forums, the developer steadfastly ignores the issue.

Add to that the sloppiness of the code, such as incorrect data placed in the Windows Installer database (claiming to be a generic "MFC Application"), and I get the impression that the application does what the developer needs it for, and he's not really interested in developing any further.

Since my needs and his have diverged, so goes my rating of the application.

I have never seen such a complex program for managing music. Zortam is absolutely awesome. I use it all the time.
What is great is that Zortam is compatible with all Mp3 taggers, iTunes, WMP.
I recomand this software to everyone.

It looks good for start but then many issues come along.

First of all, the thing I most definitely hate is taggers adding their names/identifications in my MP3's.

Yes, it tags them but did it ask for my permission?

This is indeed enough for me to discredit a software.

Then comes the unexpected font problems. Many of my MP3 tags have messed characters. I've tried several taggers and none had this issue.

With lyrics the character problem is even worse. All of them are shown jibbrish.

Some tags such as picture support is not standards compliant. Some of the standard picture tags are not even shown but matched with made up tags.

I know there are no perfect taggers out there but this one is both lacking features and has many errounous tags.

Applications such as this makes things worse as you'll need to fix the damage they made.

Very excellent program. I have tried many in the past and disliked them all. This program however, is very nice and very clean. Couple small things I didn't care for, but I'm sure they will be added in future releases. I was able to update the ID3v2 Tag, Rename the File, etc in a rather short time! Hope the author keeps up the good work!

Personally I think the Jornada 560 series is a fine product. Not to worry -- the Jornada line is being phased out in favour of the Compaq Ipaq...
