I had to rethink my comment but i can't use this cause i can just use a p2p program or this and the legal issues still stand the same for me.There wouldn't be much of a difference but for those from this country,i am sure it is a great deal,if you are into buying music from online.

The program itself seems straight forward and has a nice clean layout.Good work..

The program is rather slow, but does its job well. It is easier to use than their Web site, and that's not hard! One small fault; I haven't used it for a few weeks and when it starts up it begins updating the catalogs. I have to sit watching "Downloading update", "Installing update", Downloading update"... over and over again. Is it not possible to concatenate the files into one? It might only be slightly quicker to download, but surely faster to instal that way.

I don't like this program as much as allofmp3's explorer (allTunes is buggy and bulky), but I do like the service provided by them. In fact imho this is the only service that allows one to purchase music in a wide choice of codecs (AAC, MP3, WMA and more) and settings (bitrate etc) from the original CD source. Thus we can encode our own songs in such a way that they cost the least. I've been their customer for more than an year now and I must say, I'm throughly satisfied by their choices and the VERY reasonable prices. Now why would anyone want to download those stupid low quality illegal MP3's when you can get your own, low cost, better quality MP4's and that too legally :)

Ok, let's get this straight. I'm supposed to pay a dubious Russian company a few cents a song?

They make use of lenient Russian copyright laws, but you can bet people in the US and Europe will use this service thinking it's legal in their territory. It's not.

If you're stupid enough to pay a website to let you download pirated music, you deserve to get sued.

To k2r: and when artist and industry don't give you any option to buy an album with a fair price? Or when they even make an effort to make an album available in your country? The fact is that a few countries in the entire world can't talk like you. Will you buy a CD for U$60 or U$80 everytime you want something new? Even if you do not everybody can afford it. Sometimes there isn't an option. Believe me.

Frankly, I don't give a rat's a** if a performer gets another gold chain.
This app and site are excellent. It will of course be destroyed sooner or later by the RIAA and the like.
Meantime, you can't beat it.

Works well, and is easier to use than the AllTunes Web site. They helped me sort out a bug in the last beta pretty quickly, as well. It's rather slow to load, even discounting the time spent downloading updated catalogues, though.

Haha, 0,09 $ per Song and 1,5 $ per Album. Im 100% sure that the artists will not see any single cent from alltunes for selling their music. Better go to other sites where you pay the artist directly for their work. Finetunes, Magnatune and lots more are already out there. Don't support pirates or the musicindustrie. Go and support the Artists. Think about it.

Even better than the previous allofmp3 explorer.
This is tons faster doing updates too. The album covers are a nice addition. Overall, it's the best way to download cheap DRM-Free music in a variety of formats and bitrates.

After using their Explorer software, I think it is much more functional for the large catalog of music they have. For example with AllTunes, there is no easy way to sort Albums for an artist by Title, Year, or Category like Explorer did.

I also find it harder to find an artist with the loooong column on the left as opposed to the way the Explorer did it.

They have a few more things to tweak, and then I think I'll switch. It shows good promise.

Considering it works only with AllofMP3, it's not very versatile. The player is not especially functional, but this is obviously a music downloader and not a music library software. It integrates seamlessly with AllofMP3 though, one of the greatest MP3 services there is. For this, it is given due credit.
