I rate this a 1 for two reasons...first of all the author of the program rated it himself with a 5. That's not really fair, so I'm balancing it out with a 1.
The other reason is that $20 for a IM program is kinda a ripoff considering there are so many free ones.
If you want encryption, heck use ICQ and get TSM (Top Secret Messenger) from these guys http://www.encrsoft.com/ for only $15. I'd rather keep just one IM program instead of fragmenting my communtications further. Why make yer friends get ANOTHER IM program just cause you want security? With ICQ + TSM they don't have to download/run a whole additional chat program....
Anyway ... nice concept but foolish purchase for the user.

As a response to a review by rogeld:
In the free version, you may use 768 bit public keys (not 512 as he mentions), which are actually quite strong and unlikely to be broken in the next decade. On top of that - all data is actually encrypted with 128 bit symmetric encryption (using the US NIST's Advanced Encryption Standard). All up - encryption out of the box is pretty good.
In several areas it is ahead of other IM products, for example: encryption, offline messaging, rich text messages with colors, fonts etc).
All the best.
Paul.

Not very impressed with this one. The program is incredibly base when compared with many of the choice in the IM world. That isn't their selling point, however, and security is. WITHOUT paying you get 512 bit security, but to have 'the most secure IM client today' you need to pay. I imagine that will be a turn off for many prospective buyers, as with so many free clients, it will be near to impossible to sell this one.
