It provides the most elegant multi-page browsing features available, letting you work with multiple pages and sites much more quickly and easily--perfect for shopping, research and reference. Fly through a visual map of all the pages you're working with. Download pages while you work and access them instantly. Open several links or bookmarks at once and flip through them like a magazine, making great use of a fast connection. Add piles of pages to your favorites at once. Search multiple search engines at once in several categories such as web, images, video, news, etc. Send sets of pages via email, etc. Keep pop-ups out of your way. Open lots of pages without overtaxing memory. iRider is easy to learn because it builds on the familiar Web browser in simple yet powerful ways, and works with all the sites you use.

An interesting application, indeed, but ultimately it failed to save time or make browsing more efficient despite its marketing. Like others, it's worth keeping an eye on for future releases.

Aires, holding the right mouse button down for a couple of seconds brings up your copy / paste.

I use Firefox as my main browser but for those sites which require IE, that's where iRider comes into play. It has potential but to use it properly you do need to read about it and watch the demo movie. Like any developing browser it can only become better by proper feedback to its developers. It has some neat features and hopefully won't take to long to be up there with the big names.

I fail to understand why I should actually buy this than simply use Firefox or Maxthon, which contain many of the 'high points' of this browser.
Anyhow, the browser does contain some very interesting concepts - nothing out of the ordinary or that other programs don't provide as addons; but to see it culminate under a single browser is, as I said 'interesting'. It crashed on me a few times for no particular reason when I went to java/flash intensive sites and on a whole I don't think it likes plugins very much.
If you're into the beta experience or have a machine to test stuff on, by all means go for it. But this isn't something I'd install on a primary machine or any machine I actually use daily.

I installed it and I'm somewhat impressed with it - but only somewhat. It shows definite promise and has some nice touches other browsers don't have. But it's too quirky to use and you can't even copy & paste text - which is a big problem make no mistake. I think it has some ideas that other browsers will pinch but on the whole I couldn't use iRider on a daily basis - it's just too quirky. But it does show promise if it can refine the quirkiness.

I liked the caching of pages you wish to load in advance.

It failed several popup tests (www.popuptest.com) and the app failed to close when I exited.

Had to restart to clear it up, then I removed iRider.

It has potential, but I'll wait awhile.

OK, this is not just another IE shell. This shell is fast becoming my browser of choice at work, which is a big deal for shareware. Like Opera, you need to read a little on it (take the Flash tutorial) before you understand how productive it is.

Features that just make sense that other browsers just don't do as well (they may have features but not intuitive like this):
1. Rifle through web pages for slide shows or as a finding tool (hold down left mouse and drag and flip through really fast). In this browser the "tabs" and the "history" are the same thing usually.
2. Drag through close buttons to close multiple "tabs" very clickly (just drag down).
3. Drag through favorite buttons to keep multiple "tabs" alway open (sticky tabs)
4. Single key keyboard shortcuts

It is a great browser. I bought a copy and used it for a year, it´s very addictive. I agree the small font is a problem. I´ve stopped using it once I discovered that I can do almost exact the same thing with Firefox and I find the mousegestures more productive, and I wont have to fight Active X all the time (ads etc).

Too bad they closed their support forum, even tho their support had an attitude against people who didn´t agree on their view on advertising (not many plugins work with Irider, especially adblockers) it was a good meetingplace to exchange experiences.

But if you don´t want to take the time to learn Firefox, Irider is definitely the browser to use, you never want to go back to Internet explorer or the other clones again :) Recommend it strongly!

This is indeed a great browser. Just love the sidebar where you see thumbnails of the windows. It is a great improvement of tabs and makes it easy to jump between pages you have open.
The right-click on a link opens the page in the background, perfect when checking forums for example. It´s fast. The only bad thing is that the text is so small and one has to adjust it everytime, but maybe they´ll fix it (or maybe it´s just me not knowing how to fix the fontsize)
Works great with proxomitron too.
My Mozilla Firebird is gonna have a rest for atleast 21 days (the grace period before you have to buy it, and I probably will do that)
I recommend it to everyone who is looking for new ideas.
