I tried it. Couldn't get it to work.
When choosing settings (where to save the video files) the dialog completely locked up for about one minute or so (on each try).
The video capture never worked, I got an empty file and that's it. Also there's no sound, after you've selected the audio codec you see something about "todo".
I hope it will be better in the future, I do think there's a need for a good 3D screen recorder, but not if there's to much trouble getting it to work.

Has an abundant set of preferences and a very simple basic interface.
I wish it had screen shot options, but everything else it packs in customizing from video and audio codecs, it sure does the job that people have relied on Fraps to perform for quite awhile, in a free packet with no watermark.
In time, it could become quite a threat to Fraps' sales, and will certainly be helpful for those who want to make machinima, or record those killer moments, at no cost.
