Review the product, not the owner. The sysinternals tools have not been affected by the MS takover at all. Do not let your biased hate affect the review.
Its a good program and it does its thing well, but I just don't use it. Not sure why this thing gets so much love. At least they have finally improved the default interface. It was terrible before.

I use Irfanview because of the speed. It is way faster for just opening and viewing images. I like the functionality of Xnview better, but for me the speed is the killer. I click an image in explorer and it opens almost instantly with Irfanview....

I completely agree with tannenwheel. I have been searching and searching for a freeware editor to replace ultraedit and the main thing holding off PSPad (or Notepad++ which is also very good) from being the one is the column editing feature....
