ASIO4ALL is a universal ASIO driver for WDM audio. It attempts to find the kernel streaming interface of your audio device and adds an ASIO driver interface on top of it, using a variation of a technique dubbed "DirectKS".

Best to connect more than one devices (soundcards) together - and of curse to get an asio driver, even if your soundcard doesnt support this ;-)

Driver works perfectly for all my recording devices, low latency, no problems.

Wow. Nice update for my pos $30 snd crd. All but forgot about this. Traycon is cool.
Both XMplay & Foobar have asio plugins. Any other media players which support asio drivers should also work. High end snd crds already have their own versions. Unless u have a via envy24. I couldn't even get their driver page to open.
@derised I have a video card (drivers aren't even up anymore) with ONE set of drivers and nothing else at all works. Card is no longer made and it's a hd2400 pro agp and I get frequent driver errors such as when trying to use bing maps 3d or trying to run Second Life. It Is sure as hell isn't ms's fault my drivers are not recognized. I blame diamondmax & their dumba** 'coders'. Don't blame your snd crd which you payed for, blame the guy who tried to give it a nice feature for free which it SHOULD have already had to begin with. you really are a b****-sorry

Logitech Z-Cinema Advanced Sound System USB speakers here. This little gem makes an incredible set of speakers sound pristine. Tested with a Sempron 2600+ under XP SP3 and an Athlon64 6000+ AM2 u8nder XP64 SP2.
FIVE stars for excellence.

The rave reviews are no exaggeration! When coupled with my Audigy 1, There is no longer any clicking, popping, stopping, etc. Just pure unadulterated, 24 bit sound. No matter the CPU load, it just keeps playing.

Even for cards which come with ASIO support (like my ESI 1010) this driver might help improving the performance (less crackles!). Give it a try :)

AWESOME!!!
If you can't afford a Soundcard that has ASIO support at the moment, or if you are like me, and have MANY THINGS you need before buying a soundcard ONLY for ASIO drivers try this. I'm using AC'97 Drivers and it works PERFECT!
There is a 2.6 version now.

an excellent solution for laptop musicians who don't have the money to buy an external audio card (with ASIO support). people who can afford pro audio cards (especially desktop users, good PCI cards can be less than $50) should go that route, but this works very well with AC'97 drivers and the developer deserves many pats on the back for his work.
looking forward to future releases!
(by the way, version 2.2 is out now...)
