As to the older version yup they where unstable.
NOW above version 1.61 build 684 unicode it seems much more stable BUT loooong to load on STARTUP.
One can add search engines and pick the default TOP search eng. Many more features from mouse gestures, two favorite folder inputs one for sidebar other for favorite bar. Nice icon to represent when a page is loading looks like org Hercules using old zodiac signs similar to two triangles a one with base facing down other on top with base facing up HERE something maybe acoo can implement and hope allowed to be used by other browsers try the same loading icon BUT ADD A little line in the middle thus top triangle [AS NOW] colours in but when reaching 33% loaded, then LINE in center turns or shows up when 51% loaded then bottom triangle colours in at 66% loaded then at 90% icon turns all green fully loaded as now shows pg loaded icon, so really only adding the little line but adds a more specific % representation. Its page translator has i nice feature that some web builders might like but too unfair to others to explain. Search bar has two drop down features one for engines one for compu'r search including typed urls. Nice, hopefully in future versions in making it load faster features are not removed or stability compromised.

I don't see point of having skins, if the the skin feature fails to skin the tab bar and the docked tool windows, which, whatever the skin, retains the .net visual studio 2002 look.

(it also seems to crash always exiting the application)

having said that, with IE7 \ Firefox available for free i don't see the point for all this IE shell browsers.

Bad interface, awful stability (crashes all the time even on fresh installed windows).
Maxthon is a lot better, it is stable and has a better usability.

Avant and Maxthon should watch out for this one.
Very attractive user interface, packed with features. I am getting hooked to this browser even though Maxthon is my default browser. Sometimes I launch Acoo and sometimes Maxthon. It's got almost all the features other browsers have and I am sure it will exceed them. Features are being added every time. For example Super Drag and Drop was implemented, "Add URL Here" on top of each Favorites was recently added and "Open All URLs" etc. The author is friendly and reported bugs get fixed!! I love the way the tab bar look. It is very professional and stylish. Keep up the good work. 5 out of 5.
