Publisher's Description
Active Registry Monitor is an utility designed for analysing the changes made to Windows Registry - by making the snapshots of it and keeping them in the browsable database. You can compare any two snapshots and get the list of keys/data which are new, deleted or just changed. It can do comparing not only in the entire Regisrty, but also in any key of the Registry. It is also possible to exclude any keys of the Registry from compare results. Moreover, you can create undo/redo files. To view the current state of a key, or to modify it, you can use Jump to Regedit function. Contents of any key can be exported to *.reg file.

In reference to Fuzzy John's review. This program is "Advanced Registry Tracer 1.67 SR2" from ElcomSoft. A simple search through the 'arm.exe' file for "elcomsoft" confirms this assertion. Stranger yet, is that their documentation, pricing, licensing, etc., is also similar. Maybe a VAR or, more likely, OEM deal between SmartLine and ElcomSoft.

controler: dude, the defenition of a beta is a program which isn't ready for production. Shareware programs, or ANY other program can well be BETA.

"In software development, a beta test is the second phase of software testing in which a sampling of the intended audience tries the product out. (Beta is the second letter of the Greek alphabet.) Beta testing can be considered "pre-release testing." Beta test versions of software are now distributed to a wide audience on the Web partly to give the program a "real-world" test and partly to provide a preview of the next release."

This program looks identical to ART (Advanced Registry Tracer) by Elcomsoft. What's the deal here?

Oh wow, another "browser" based on IE. I give it a 1 simply because (IMO) a new front end to IE does not a browser make. How did these "shells" or IE UIs some to be referred to as a browser anyway? It trivializes real browsers like IE, Mozilla and Opera.

Here is the same old b****. Stop calling shareware with a 30 day evaluation with limited features BETA. Beta should ALWAYS be freeware. You are getting free testing for crying out loud!!! Do NOT release your software to the public unless it is complete and you are then calling it TRIALWARE.
THis is NOT ethical Beta testing Procedures.

You are right, ilasoft, thanks for pointing that out. I did mean the Shift key but I enclosed "Shift" in arrows and it was obviously interpreted as HTML-formatting, so it didn't make the post. Sorry about that!
