Yes, there is a 3.x version, but it is a super-dumbed-down version of 2.55. (Intermute even confirms that 2.55 was "too much" for a broad user base to develop around it.) Unfortunately, v3.x is useless. Version 2.55 still has a place in my start-up folder. Even the newer browsers' capabilities do not match all of those found in this "old" version of AdSubtract Pro. In sum, do not waste your money on anything beyond v2.55 until Intermute realizes it had a great product that should have been improved, not diminished.

Good ad removal utility, but I had to switch to admuncher which does a bit more than this can do (better filtering, popup stopper, and overall better interface). www.admuncher.com, plus this is the same version I've used since 2.55 was released a while ago. Is there a changelog and a version update for this one?

A nice program.
I'm confused by this listing, however.Version 2.5.5? AdSubtract Pro is up to version 3.0.6 and that version was released around July of 2004.
From memory the changes between 2.xx and 3.xx:
A nicer UI, more advanced options, "search sanity" which removes the ads from search engine sites like Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, etc.
I can't remember them all and the only info I see is the product datasheet on their website.
