I love Aim Ad-Hack. Works as promised and seems pretty consistent with updates.
In response to why I don't use Pidgin or Digsby or the slew of others - they don't offer the interface, options, or features I prefer. I also do not like GTK; and I really dislike having multiple-client buddy lists all on one window.

One of the best software avail. Anything below of 5 for this makes no sense. Why use this at all if you use aim. And if you use aim, how could you not love this great piece of software.
