Hmm, looks like you never have really damaged dbf files. SET TABLEVALIDATE fixes only small problems with header and does not have repair functionality.

1) 200 bucks is a LOT of money for this...there are lots of freeware apps that do this.
2) It lies. I had a problem with a Visual Foxpro 8 table - it said that I had to buy it to fix the table - all that I REALLY needed to do was SET TABLE VALIDATE 0 .. and it was fine.

Interesting idea, but I'm far from impressed.
