A mere 225 Meg - No need for that in 2016 ~ Although Emsisoft feel lots of Meg & associated high memory usage is a good thing? Cloud?

If it has to download a couple of hundreds of MB's for each definition updates, that means the first better optimize their update engine.
I'm not willing to download 200 MB's daily only to keep the database up-to-date.

Emsisoft i connect with too many falsepositives.

##TEST## ... Downloaded >> Rclicked File >> Extracted
Went Into the "Run" Folder (4 apps) & used the a2emergencykit.exe as standalone rather than thru the Launcher. It told me there were signature updates available, which means "Good Support".
These 4 apps make a nice toolkit for the Sys techs who do fixes on (KNOWN infected PCs). They are not Toys, so @Noobs... If you wanna play take Extreme care.... It's the only way to learn tho..!!
"IF" This app finds Bogeys.. Don't Install a shedload of (Anti-This&That) software. Re-Configure your A/v or consider Upgrading to a better one.

I think I'll stick with Malwarebytes despite no portable version. I had a lot of False positives that neither MBAM or Avast have ever detected.

Free On-Demand scanner that is on-par, if not better than MalwareBytes Anti-Malware. Great scanner !
