Publisher's Description

Exstora is an excellent tool for saving notes, ideas, passwords and scheduled events. It’s the best if you are overwhelmed with the information flow and often need to remember or write down the small texts. The category system will let you keep your records ordered, and the password protection system will hide the private data (passwords, notes, ideas) from the stranger’s eyes. You don’t need to know how the processor is designed in order to get started; the program’s major goals are the convenience in the use and the ease in getting started.

Interestingly, it's not resizable - it insists on taking up 25% of my desktop. For me, that makes it unusable. Bummer...

Lovely app, indeed!just need some GUI improviments and if it has a sync with iPod calendar would be PERFECT!

Interface needs some work but otherwise is simple and stable. Not sure about some of the colour schemes though.

Great little app! Never had any problems with it, and does exactly what I want it to. Excellent for keeping a busy/messy life that little bit more organised.

Pretty cool interface, I like the idea for putting notes. Program ends whenever I click on add event. I guess still in beta. I have XP pro SP1

Best Luck,,

Very nice, it's not an application that i personally would use that much myself but i have plenty of friends that are not so good at computers and alot of them would love a simple program to handle calendars/notes/reminders and such just like this application, i will recommend this to them myself as a matter of fact it will probably be me that will have to install it for them. :)

tiny. nifty.
usually I have a .txt file on my desktop serving as a clipboard for all the stuff that comes to my mind and needs to be written down somewhere. This program distinguishes from this approach by introducing categories and a daily planer. As presumed it installs itself into the system tray.

just a personal note: the tray icon could be more meaningful :)

I like this program a lot. It’s simple but yet powerful. Just one click away and you can then see or put down your information. A eminent program for saving notes, ideas, passwords and scheduled events. What more can you ask for and that for free.

I give it a 3 for average, but it's a good start.

I remember a few years ago the PIM included with Wordperfect office functioned something like this. I really liked that program and have searched for something similer for years. Sidebars are all too bloated and are designed to pretty much reside on the desktop all the time. The todo and calander list would slide in from the side when the mouse move over it. I feel like this program should do that, but it doesn't. Instead you have to click the icon in the iconbar. Same idea, but it was slicker that other way.

It could also use to be a little more secure. The encryption seems to stay open indefinately once the password has been entered. The calander could use some polish too. It works, but it doesn't look very impressive. It would be really cool if this could sync up with iCal servers.
