It's basically a KCeasy clone with the (garbage-filled, malware-infested, RIAA-patrolled) FastTrack network added. Also, a scan at VirusTotal turns up trojan warnings from three scanners. Just get KCeasy instead.

This program is nice with the searches but it has really SLOW download speeds. I find what i need but i cant download anything. Most things will not even start donwloading.

FilePipe is based on an open-source engine the same as KCeasy... wich i find really stable on my cpu
the interface looks sweet, its free, its adware free, its open-source, it aint using **** java, and the engine is well coded
the only problem, that attrack my attention were the SLOW download speed, wich i doesnt really care anyway... still a nice p2p apps
maybe you should give it a try and see by yourself

FilePipe is an OK P2P app, but it's too mediocre. There's nothing really special about it, not very fast download speeds, no real unique features. It's the same thing as KCEasy, but is slower and when you exit it, most of the end user configurations are reset which is really annoying. I recommend KCEasy.

Cabos works much better. Not a bad shot at a P2P program. Good job , but could be way better.

Nice interface. Too bad the programmer is wasting his talent on a P2P program.

Well..it worked for a few hours...but getting download speeds of 500 bites a sec was less than what i had hoped for....it did connect to ares slowly,(yes its an ares thing) I am wondering what ive been doing wrong.I am not affected by throttling by my ip,I also tried manually setting my firewall to accept this program with out success...it works...but SLOWLY...back to limewire pro for me...if anyone has some idea of what may have been the problem in my case...please send me a note and i will try it again.

In this day of Spyware and Adware, this is a refreshing and very useful application. It connects to ALL the major networks, OpenFT, Gnutella, Fastrack(Kazaa) and Ares. The Ares client takes a while to connect(up to 30 minutes, but this is a limitation of the Ares network, not the program. It is fast, not bloated, not a heavy JAVA based program, and FREE. This, to me, is by far better than the feature heavy commercial applications such as Limewire Pro Etc. It has just the features you need to successfully download and share files. I recommend downloading it, as I haven't used any other P2P program since I downloaded it. I even paid for Limewire Pro, but haven't used it since I grabbed this!

looks like it is a clone of kceasy, or... I don't know who copy who. anyway, filepipe lacks irc chat, maybe irc is not necessary. both are open source software.
