Publisher's Description
Files Terminator Free is an easy to use application that allows users to permanently delete their files and wipe free disk space. The utility protects the users privacy by permanently delete sensitive documents, images, videos and other files and by overwriting the free disk space. The software uses several shredding methods (one pass Pseudorandom, British HMG IS5, two pass Russian GOST P50739-95, three pass US DoD 5220.22M, seven pass German VSITR, Canadian RCPM TSSIT OPS-II, Bruce Schneier and the 35-pass Peter Gutmann) and supports drag and drop for easier use. During file shredding the content of the selected files are overwritten several times with random data and predefined characters and cannot be recovered any more.

I am sorry to vote 3 really but I must report that drag-and -drop did not work with my system.

As mentioned by some of the users here, this software does not have drag-and-drop facility and even right-click option. For better results to wipe unused disk space, interested users can [url=http://www.remosoftware.com/remo-shredder.exe]download the trial version of one of best drive wiping software, which will delete the data permanently beyond recovery. This software uses the shredding patterns approved by various international government and law enforcement agencies...

with all the frequent postings, it would be nice if the changes in each version were also posted to know if it is worth updating

Not sure if this had drag-n-drop before ... if not it needs it ... also right-click on selected file(s) to delete/wipe would be beneficial.

All errors were corrected ... Now it works great!

Would be better if it could take the erased files names and give them a random name and do the same with the dates making them as useless as possible. The rest seems to get the job done in a reasonable time. Portable available on website. Option to add to right-click context menu for deletion would also be nice. A plus would be option to change process priority in case there is a heavy work load and user doesn't want to tie up system on this one task. Had error message [ActiveX component can't create object(429)] on my 64 bit Win 7 O.S. when attempting to use 'Destroy Files'.
