This is a must have for the latest security patches and hardware updates.

@ Hugh G. Rection: It made me laugh! Great sense of humor!

Here's a simple helpful tutorial for upgrading the kernel if you have the right flavor of Linux:

Valuable software indeed, but of value only to developers that create and maintain Linux distributions. Unfortunately for others there is very little the average user can do with this without expert knowledge in how to merge the new kernel into his installed operating system.

Rated 4. subtracting 1 for lack of general usability without the rest of a linux distribution to go with it.

If this were a linux developer's site, I would have given it a full 5.

Probably the single most important piece of code in the world today.

You're clearly a troll as far as Linux discussions are concerned and a stupid one at that. Only a troll would be ridiculous enough to display his blatantly obvious ignorance by stating that he tried to install a Linux kernel on Windows.

At least troll with some acumen; you are insulting the reader's meaningful intelligence with rubbish like this.

The kernel deserves full marks: FIVE stars.

Tried installing this on Windows 7. Did not work.
Useless piece of software.

Pros: Get the latest build that likely won't be in the update manager's repository for months.

Cons: You need a little knowledge on how to install these builds. Not for newbies.

Bottom Line: This is a must have for the latest security patches and hardware updates.

Just because you cannot find a changelog, doesn't mean you should underrate this software.

Human readable changelog is available on http://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_2_6_35 shortly after the stable kernel has been released. Raw changelog is always available on http://kernel.org.

Where is the condensed changelog? All I can find is some lenghty, difficult to decipher changelog.
