MKVToolnix is a set of tools to create, alter and inspect Matroska files under Linux, other Unices and Windows. They do for Matroska what the OGMtools do for the OGM format and then some.

I Want to Thank the Dev for This Superb App. Brilliant in its Day..!!
Used Daily (Then). But Time Marches On.. Y E A H.. I know..hmfff.
Windows Apps are Far more Malleable But I crept Into Enigma2,
Then off at a Tangent into Android. Hence Streaming.. (No Apps).
ALWAYS 5* to the Devs for Rippers, a/v Tools, Lossless etc etc.
Moved On Now But Thanx & G'luk.. ^_^

And while mkvmerge worked perfectly, some genius decided to "deprecate" it and forced us to use the idiotic mkvtoolnix interface without a minimal guide on how to use it. So, back to 7.9

Here we go again, something that worked fine with just a couple of clicks now takes a few more clicks to do the same thing. Why do they do this?

I and millions need MKVExtractGUI integrated into MKVToolnix.

Along with MKVExtractGUI, a must have for me. Extract out needless subtitle(s) and/or audio track(s) and merge the rest back together in no time.

The BEST for Lossless work. Lots of Formats (flv mp4 avi) etc .. to MKV output.
Add/Remove subs, chapters, or plain Transcode/Re-mux. Supports A/v sync
EG: Brrip 700Mb "MP4 to MKV" Re-Mux. About 2mins (sys dependent) .... 5*

Don't just dump files onto the UI
You MUST use the Append Button for the second & consequent files .. ~_^
EXAMPLE: Input
Input #1 vid1.avi 720x480 788Mb
Input #2 vid2.avi 720x480 872Mb
Output #vid1+2.mkv 720x480 1650Mb
Muxing took 2 minutes 11 seconds.... Fast. Lossless. Flawless.
