Media player classic and MPC home theater are the absolute best media player in the world by the moment. An old PC and this player is all you need for your living room media center!
But.. Why would you want to make something that is compatible wit Windows 2000? How many people in the world runs that 10 year old OS?
Why not call it Media Player Clasic for Windows 7/8 and XP?

Pros: Wonderful bit of comp sci geekiness. Love it since I am a very long time comp sci geek. Good to see some grass roots programming still going on. happy wheels https://happywheels2.io online
Cons: Also good to see that this has as much in common with any current mainline OS out there as an aardvark has with a rutabaga. I am always a big fan of originality.
Is it simplistic? Sure it is! It is not trying to be a mainstream desktop or mainframe OS. It is simply an OS that a guy wrote in his spare time as an intellectual exercise. And to that I say it is a fine effort.
Bottom Line: Indecipherable. Author must wear an aluminum foil cap.

no point of raising a dead project.
until they join the branches (with MPC HC) I will be using HC as I am happy with it.
It is stupid to keep alive 2 different branches with 2 different problems to fix ;)
and the fault is here, not on HC side...
