I experimented with every DLNA server I could find, settled on Mezzmo. I do not use the transcoding It streams flawlessly to my TV’s, blu-ray, PS3, Xbox & Droid devices. Easy to setup and runs on Windows Home Server 2011 flawlessly. I actually bought this….no hacking.

Recently I purchased the sony bdp series blu ray player and was keen to check out its DLNA capability. So I did the basic hardware setup with tp link gigabit router and acer veriton desktop pc.
Now the selection of software for the media server was the next challenge.
the first software I tried was tvmobili.. was a basic one and had very limited performace when streaming HD movies. Then comes the serviio java version which is very similar to tvmobili in its performance.
Then after some researching I found the details about MEZZMO from conceiva. I downloaded Version: 2.1.10.0
I must admit I was BLOWN away by the time it took to get the software configured and being recognised on the sony BDP S370. All I had to do was follow the simple prompts and way it goes.
Next I wanted to test its video and audio rendering quality. So I ripped the blu ray version of IRON MAN with h264 X1080pand streamed it thru the acer veriton desktop.
The video was spot on with out any lag or freezing frames. and the sound was really thumpy and crystal clear
Conclusion: I would definitely recommend mezzmo as the first, only and ultimate choice to compliment your movie collection.
