while its a great plugin to share with whom you want and what you want. remember to read their privacy listing, as like most users we don't bother in this case, have a squiz at; http://www.nakido.com/privacy/

Works great! What I need is file encryption and sending folders (not only single files).

The file is NOT uploaded to the Nakido server. Their software works like a bittorrent client on a browser. I tried to share a file on a forum to see how things go and it can handle thousands of downloaders at the same time with my internet connection. Then I shutdown my computer after many people downloaded the file the link still working. I think it's a great way to share you files on your blog and forum with Nakido and remember not to shutdown your computer before you have enough seeds.

I'm not happy with the fact that to stop sharing [a] file(s) one must kill the process instead of there being a built-in way to do so. There are times when uploading may not be wanted.
Pando has a better UI [not that a UI is amazingly important] and is more robust in features.
Given time this may be better but for now I'd call it a no-go.

I am able to generate a link but when you try to open the link, nothing happens. It seems like the servers handling these are almost always down. Even if you are able to click on a working server link, then also download does not start for whatever reason. Not a utility for beginners at all. Not recommended. I would suggest that you try Pando and you may be pleasantly surprised with what Pando has to offer. BTW, I am NOT associated with Pando in anyway.

The shared files seems to be uploaded to Nakido servers. What will they do with those files what about privacy ?

I've only just dowqnloaded this and am trying it out so I'm not sure if I'll have any problems or anything.
I'm rating this 5/5 though because it's a great idea! It makes sharing files on your computer, with ie. a friend so easy.
Great stuff! :)
