Publisher's Description

Nuntius Leo is a free and open source Email client without any advertisements. It is written in c++ with a Qt User Interface. The main function is to provide a very simple email client. It is a personal Email Client like Outlook or Thunderbird. The Lion of the Messages or E-Mail clients might be the right translation of the latin words Nuntius Leo. Or just say: I mail with "Leo". Nuntius Leo.

Thanks for this cool Email Client, it is open source and Thunderbird and Outlook need definately a new Open Source Alternative, Nuntius Leo is a cool name for an Email client. I like it much! Looking for the new version.

Yes it is an early version, yes it has a long way to go. But the idea of an open source, cross platform email client other than Thunderbird is attractive.

At least it deserves -constructive- critisism, like: what features are missing, how should they be prioritized, how can they be implemented etc.

It looks funny, but what is it? You kodda be kidding if this is meant as a serious emailclient

Has a very long way to go. Right now there is the typical Mail-Client-UI, POP3 and SMTP Support. That's all. No multiple accounts, no IMAP, no SSL/TLS encryption, no signatures, no filtering, no plugins ... nothing.

Even the UI has a very prototype character to it. A lot of space is being wasted, Password fields are shown using clear text, no custom folders available yet and no error reporting (for instance when using bogus email servers).

A technology preview at best.
