Publisher's Description
Psycle is an Open Source modular music editor with a tracker-like interface. It allows to use different sound generators and audio effects and route them via an easy to use interface. It supports VST plugins and has a native plugin format too, as well as a sampler to play .wav samples. MIDI input is supported for either editing or realtime usage.

The "itdownload.dll" is used to download two optional executables not included in the installer:
The VST plugin pack (Located here: http://sourceforge.net/p...ycle/files/psycle/1.8.5/ ). It is a 7-zip self-extractor.
The 32 and/or 64bit Microsoft c++ runtime libraries for visual studio 2008, downloaded directly from microsoft's site.
The installer script used can be inspected by downloading it from here:
http://sourceforge.net/p.../PsycleInstallerx86.iss
If none of those files are required, neither selected during installation (which are not by default), no download takes place.
