Publisher's Description

SharpKeys is a Registry hack that is used to make certain keys on a keyboard act like other keys. For example, if you accidentally hit Caps Lock often, you could use this utility to map Caps Lock to a Shift key or even turn it off completely. As it relies on internal support within Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003, you must be running one of these OS's for this Registry hack to work.

All I wanted it to do was keep the caps lock key off. It didn't do that. As for the .Net thing, I'm getting a little sick of webpages and programs that require it. Seems to me it's just more extortion from the microsoft cash cow.

Kylde get out of here. Dissing a program because it uses .net. Get out. I bet you did not even bother to download the app did you.

But does it work in DOS? I mean by first glance they use a fake DOS/Terminal looking screen but it doesn't work in DOS, how interesting and confusing, however it is exciting to not know for certain. I'm riddled with anticipation of the next release. Good work fellow and good testing toast you make.

Great idea! Now i've reconfigured the scroll lock key to be the Win-key. I use an old (1992) 102-key IBM keyboard, so no Win-key for me... untill now :-)
