Publisher's Description
TC4Shell is a tool for opening an enormous range of archive types such as ZIP, RAR and 7Z, directly in Windows Explorer. It is a file archiver which makes things as simple as possible, but not simpler. Thanks to its core feature - ultimate integration with Windows Explorer - you will be able to handle archives and disk images just like regular folders. Everything you might need when dealing with archives is now right within reach: copy/paste, drag&drop, running executables directly from archives, as well as working with nested archives and self-extracting (SFX) packages.
In addition, TC4Shell enables you with easy, yet convenient, password manager and package profiles. If you often send or receive password-protected archives, you can set up passwords for encryption and then simply pick them up from the TC4Shell's dialog box when packing files. The same mechanism also applies to package profiles - simply configure compression parameters, such as compression level and method, and then re-use them by picking up the corresponding profile.

This is just an answer to cyberguy's criticism:
> Developer's website says it can COMPRESS rar ... baloney!
TC4Shell uses installed WinRar to create and modify rar archives. Information about it is in the help on the website of the program. But no one reads the help.
> Software advertised here as "Freeware". It is SHAREWARE
> I am really sick and tired of developers making false claims and advertisements about their products.
TC4Shell developer does not have ANY relation to this site and information about the program on this site. TC4Shell's website also does not indicate anywhere that the program is free. On the contrary, TC4Shell's website says that the program is paid.

I am really sick and tired of developers making false claims and advertisements about their products.
I have nothing against shareware, but don't BS us by saying something is freeware then asking us to buy a license to use it!
The only reason I am not smacking this with a 1 rating is because I like the integration. The reason it is not higher than 2 is because I don't like being lied to.

Pros: Integration is good. Hard to tell where base windows ends and tc4shell begins. Handles unpacking of a LOT of formats.
Cons: Developer's website says it can COMPRESS rar. I tested this claim and found it to be false. You cannot 'pack to' .rar files. This is the same function of any other free/commercial archiver except for winrar. In other words - baloney!
