Publisher's Description

USB Safeguard is a portable software program to encrypt and protect data with a password on your removable pen drives using the AES 256 bits encryption. The main purpose of using a USB pen drive is that you can bring your data with you wherever you go. But if you lose your USB pen drive your data also lose. This is dangerous if you have confidential files stored in it.

Free version works only with USB Flash drive of size max 2 GB.

1. only works from the usb stick itself
2. only works if your usb stick is formatted to NTFS - who in their right mind would use ntfs on a small memory stick. It will however format it for you. Beware though, if you have valuable data on the stick it will be lost during the format.
I suppose the program could be useful but this freeware version is not. It will only do a maximum of 2gb and if you want a larger, then you have to pay.
There are free alternatives available but you could always wait for this to be released as freeware.
