Publisher's Description

UltraISO is a powerful and easy-to-use utility that can extract, create, edit, and convert CD/DVD image files. It can directly edit ISO files, make images from CD/DVD-ROMs, or create new one from files and folders on your computer. You have the option to make bootable CDs. In addition, UltraISO can convert nearly all known CD/DVD images to ISO, BIN/CUE, Nero (.NRG), or CloneCD (.CCD/.IMG/.SUB) format.

The new stuff:
+) Optimized U+ v2 boot technology, now it is possible to boot all of your PCs with a single bootable USB flash drive
+) Improved syslinux V3/V4 support, can create bootable USB disk from ISO image of popular linux distributions, including:
Debian live 6.03
Knoppix 6.7
Backtrack 5
Fedora 15
OpenSUSE 11.4
CentOS Live 6
Mandriva Linux 2011
*) Includes Lame 3.99 encoder
*) Can open BIF file of Acronis True Image 2012
*) Supports virtual drives of Daemon-Tools Lite/Pro 4.41
*) Can detect and use Nero 11 and Roxio 2011 as default burning software
*) Some minor improvements and bug fixes
-------------------------
I've been using UltraISO for over 7 years. It is one of the few pieces of software that has stayed true to itself, updated for what is relevant, and has avoided becoming yet another "piece of bloated" software. To EZB Systems, thank you.

My only gripe is that in images being altered UltraISO always inserts its copyright.

Great, handy piece of software to have around! Someone mentioned 64-bit driver? I'm downloading now. :)

A terrific application. It supports all of the CD/DVD image formats I could desire and has plenty of customization options (including ability to enable/disable shell integration). The interface is clean and usable (I can't stand how many apps lead you through wizards with enormous colorful buttons). The only downside is the cost. I would like to see this as freeware.

PE stands for Personal Edition I think, but yes UltraISO PE is synonymous with buying UltraISO.

Ok - this version seems to work ok too. I'll do heavy testing later.

Is there any difference between "Ultra ISO" and "Ultra ISO PE"?

Are they the same product, or is PE a different version with other features?

Thanks

Their web site is sort of confusing.

I bought it because of its format conversion abilities, but I keep being surprised whenever I need something to do with CDs or DVDs to find out this tool already can do it :)
