I have used for 3 years. Have paid with Paypal one year at a time. Each year when the year is up, the service terminates and I renew.
I regularly get 30-40 meg download speeds, wide selection of information, and fair reliability. I rate them quite highly. Other review rag on them for their latency in cancelling accounts or failure to do so. Do it on the phone and take a name.

Usenext.de is very slow!!!!
It can't get 100 nor 50mbit/s.
I was complaining about it, but they said it's my fault my ISP is too slow.
But I am getting 101mbit/s from ISP on every port. They are not trimming me.
They can't held what the are telling. Full bandwidth. What junks!!!

Man,i was so close to paying for Usenext but sometime told me not too..whew...thank god ,i haven't give them my credit card number...thanks for the heads up guys.

its a complete scam, they will attempt to get money from you years later when your account is closed by using debt collectors, please look up "Usenext scam" on google and do not use them.
I hope I have save many stressfull moments.

1. Subscribe to a well-known Newsgroup provider (Giganews, Astraweb, etc.) which has comparable pricing.
2. Download a usenet client (Newsbin Pro, Newsleecher, or if you don't want to pay get Grabit which is freeware).
3. Join an NZB forum (there are plenty).
4. Be happy.
I use Giganews and have never had a problem and max out my 30MB connection. I cancelled my account for the summer while I was vacationing and did not get billed anything. Re-instated my account, works fine. Maybe others here can recommend other providers as well.

I tried the free trial of usenext over 2 years ago and while ok wasn't exactly what I was looking for so cnacelled before the end of the "free" trial.
A few weeks ago I get an e-mail reminding me I owe them just over £100. Go to usenext and log in to the account I cancelled. Turns out it wasn't cancelled with no way to prove that I in fact cancelled during the free trial. They wait 2 YEARS before sending me a payment demand, no other communication during that time at all. I respond explaining my side of things and asking them to clarify a few points, next e-mail I receive is from a debt collection agency.
A nice big bill for something I've never used. Save yourself grief and stay the hell away from these cowboys. If you want newsgroup access sign up for giganews.

Guys iv been using UseNext for a while and i just want to recommend YOU DO NOT USE THEM.
I have had a very bad experience and now they are trying to charge me for a subscription i did not use. They didnt make it clear that they charge you every month no matter if you pay for it or not, they will also use debt collectors.
You may think you can pay once for say 50GB and then just use that and buy another 50GB but they will keep charging you no matter if you pay for it or not. When you dont pay, they will get dept collectors to recover the money. They didnt contact me to say this is whats going to happen or anything.
Unbelivable.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Malicious and money grabbing "free" but not really free trial. IF you read all the fine print - and unselect the hidden 'fast download option' then the offer might be free - but thanks to an anti-fraud call from my ccrd company i found out they charged me $12 for 30mb download while on the 'free' trial

Never used the Usenext paid service, never will. From what I've heard it's a racket and they bleed their users dry.
And in other news, their Edonkey / Emule network server has the most users but the only search results it serves up are fake cracks and serials in .exe and .zip form which contain trojans and viruses. Stay away from this shady operation.

Hi, Dude, As an expedienced user, I could recommend you this cool software.
It is true, that you have to pay for the service, but for me the service worth the price.
Luckily, we could try it out before we make our final decision.

Nasty scammers. Sign up for free trial, get sent an email saying its expired and don't worry, your account hasn't been renewed:
Hello,
Your UseNeXT free trial has just ended automatically.
An additional cancellation is not necessary, as your account has not been renewed.
We hope that you have enjoyed UseNeXT.
And then 14 days later they try and charge your credit card. Then when you cancel it and don't pay them, they try and ruin your credit rating setting debt collection agencies on you for 25 euros!

Usenext is a scam. My credit card got charged twice upon signing up for the free trial, even though it shouldn't have been charged at all. As if that were not bad enough, I never even received an e-mail with my account information.
I am paying for an account that was supposed to be free, and I cannot even access it.
Thank God I can charge back through my bank, because UseNeXT is a joke.

Well UseNeXT has gotta be the best piece of software (and in my opinion the only piece of software) that actually makes it easy, fast, efficient and enjoyable downloading from newsgroups. It is amazingly easy. I have messed around with newsgroups on and off for years and to be honest never knew what all the fuss was about. No easy search, which one do you join, why does it take so long to get the headers, where’s that search option again? And then you download some files that makeup a DVD , for example, and you have some missing, where are they and why didn’t they get downloaded with the rest of the files and what’s all this about rar's, par's and hang on where have the last 6 hours gone. Nightmare...
Well UseNeXT takes away all of that, you type in a search phrase, click on the download wizard (which kindly goes off and finds all of the files you need, downloads them, re jigs them and uncompresses) and there you have it click click and you've got your file. And did I mention the speed, WOW. I recently upgraded to 10mb cable and attain download speeds up to 1250kbytes/second!!! Now that’s fast. Most of the time you average around 800kbps but that’s fast enough to download a DVD in 1-2 hours. Yes there is a cost but save me hours of faffing about and give me what I want quickly and I'll part with a tenner a month. The unlimited button is a little confusing; press it and you don’t get charged for the download but your speed will really be affected, I can only get 30-40 kbps not the quoted 'up to 500' so kick it into this overnight if your prepared to wait for your files. Now I'm sure if you've been using other free newsreaders for years and you are on some kind of other level, intellectually, than most of us mere mortals that you can achieve the above relatively easily and cheaply but if you don’t fall into this tiny niche then download a version of UseNeXT, sign up for the free trial, what have you got to loose besides hours and hours of messing about!!
