This program is awesome. I was already manually using two custom profiles whenever I used the battery or was plugged in, but now with this program everything switches automatic, including disabling Aero.
Works great with SP1.

Product does exactly what it says it does. Gives me about another hour of battery life. Nothing wrong with that!

If your laptop comes with OEM software, that incorporates all functionlaities of Vista Battery Saver, you, probable, do not need any additional software. However, as far as I know, there is no OEM, that provides all those functionalities

not quite sure of the point of this... don't vista laptops already ship with this? Mine does and so does my wife's (acer and Toshiba) - as soon as it switches to battery it dims the screen, lowers the processor speed (or something like that) switches to vista basic and goes into power conserve mode...

Why do I need this?

Fantastic, does it job, and does it well!!!!!!

to bodean: Why rate it low then when you don't understand the purpose.. This program is impossible to live without when using a laptop.. Vista is missing the power management from XP, this allow you to set powermode to powersave and disable sitebar and so on, when your laptop is running on battery.. and back when you'r pluged in.. GREAT!

Saving about an hour of battery work time isn't really good reason? :)

Still see no real reason to use this app.

Looks promising.

To the others posting here: You DID read that this is a beta? Instead of moaning here you should help the guy improving his software. Idiots!

First, and hopefully LAST release. Same issues as posters above with Home Premium. Guy needs to spend his time doing something else, this application is going no where.

Despite the fact that I'm running Vista Home Premium I get an error message when trying to run the program stating that I must upgrade my OS to Vista Home Premium rendering the program useless.

Installed it, ran it and it gave me an error saying I needed Windows Vista Home Premium or better. So here's the problem with that... I'm already running Vista Home Premium! Excellent job.
