Since the original program has not been updated in over a year, a fork was created on GitLab where there is a newer community edition that is maintained:

Not for the novice.
Documentation on the website is not enough also. Reads like the interface.

fantastic stuff look at it as a service pack something Microsoft should have done along time ago especially with windows 7, should be on service pack 3 by now, Microsoft update service is a horrid operation . If you reinstall something over a year old good luck with windows update. This is where Ican say Linux really out shines windows

This really, really needs the ability to do a 100%, complete and comprehensive offline update. Right now it does a partial one, then requires the user to connect to a Microsoft server to access some data files before continuing.

They should download that data information at the time they download the offline update files so that you don't need to connect to Microsoft at all.

It seems like such an obvious thing. I hope they get on it.

Pros: Excellent app for downloading offline updates for several versions of Windows and Office.

Cons: No longer updated or maintained. Check out the summary for a fork that is still being actively developed.

Bottom Line: Since the original program has not been updated in over a year, a fork was created on GitLab where there is a newer community edition that is maintained:

Pros: Is a brilliant light weight program that will download all you need to install from a drive or a ISO or USB

Cons: For the interface it needs major work and for novice and intermediate computer knowledge it is useless as it stands now.

If the interface was updated to clear and concise information this would be invaluable to all.

Including merging Updater and the Installer to the same interface.

Bottom Line: Not for the novice.
Documentation on the website is not enough also. Reads like the interface.

Had the infamous svchost using high cpu problem with latest XP updates. Used this cool utility to download all the updates since SP3. I then manually installed the updates for this month and it fixed my issue (couldn't run the update.bat file since the high cpu kept it from running right). I didn't know what update fixed the issue at that time (do now, but not when I needed the fix, hence used this program to retrieve the updates). Thanks a heap. :)

This has become an essential piece of kit.

Why have auto updates on several machines when you can have them all ready to go in one place? Great for sys admins, repair techs, and those who format often.
