Publisher's Description
Wallpaper Master contains many options to help keep your desktop looking fresh. You can change your wallpaper when Windows starts, or at regular or random intervals. You can rate each image so that it is shown less or more often. It can change the desktop icons background to transparent so that your pictures will show through the icons. It has customizable global htkeys so you can quickly change the wallpaper with any key combo. And it includes many more useful features. It uses very little resources and you don't even have to install it.

Just perfect! Very lite and clean! A great app!
Reamente hace su trabajo, es muy efectivo y muy ligero.

Cool wallpaper changer. The GUI is very nice and clean! and the program isn't bloatware too.
However it still lack of some features such as:
1. change wallpaper every monthly.
2. change wallpaper by specified date and time.
hopefully in the next release will be implemented.

Excellent wallpaper manager with all the features one could want - and free. the resize algorithm is very good and while the author claims that the app is not fully Vista compatible, i don't view that as a showstopper (in fact it's a blessing - one should not condone mediocrity).
There is one annoying oversight and this applies directly to users getting the "Error: failed to change wallpaper" message:
In the Registry, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Control Panel / Desktop there should be a String Value called "Desktop". If this is MISSING, the program won't work. My comment of "oversight" is in reference to the program not being able to inform the user exactly what is wrong, although it DOES gracefully exits the error condition.
FIVE stars for a good piece of code that is really useful to us eye candy addicts.

I've been looking for a program like this for years, and i finally found Wallpaper master 6 months ago and i love it. The memory/cpu footprint is small for what it does (8-12mb ram), never crashs and has a lot of options like mirroring, taskbar resizing and idle time out and like others have stated, holds a lot of wallpapers in it's cycle list.
I have a continuous growing list of over 600 wallpapers of nothing but hot women/models/celebs cycling at an interval of 1 wallpaper a minute.
I couldn't think of any other thing i would want cycling other then sexy women, life has never been so sweet! ;)

Thank You for updating. V2.15 would not handle more than something like 5000 papers. I have now 14,388 papers totalling 6.24gb on my partition. I have resized each & every one to fit my screen size of 1280x1024 using faststone. Resize minus taskbar does not seem to be working??

I've tried it numerous times and just can't get into it like I can w/ Wallpaper Cycler.. I will stick w/ that for the time being..
Can't rate it too low as it's a good program, but not for me..

Nice piece of software that easily became my choice of wallpaper managers. If there is anything, it *might* be that large files occasionally crashed the previous version. Still, not enough bother to lessen the top score it deserves.

Not bad. Certainly better than most of the wallpaper changers I've tried though. The main reason I like it is because of the huge number of wallpapers it can store compared to things like wallpaperchanger.de.
It's easy to install, but not so easy to use. It took me ages to get set up how I wanted it. Some of the options don't really make sense to me, and the program itself looks ugly.
But if you want a pretty solid wallpaper changer with lots of options, then you've found it! Recommended.

I have over 22,000 digital pictures that I have spent countless hundreds of hours editing in PhotoShop. In the past 8 years I have downloaded and tried dozens of wallpaper management programs. I discarded them all, staying with my simple old obsolete program that didn’t work well.
Last year I finally struck gold. Wallpaper Master is the most amazing wallpaper management program that I have ever seen. If this doesn’t do just about anything that you can imagine to display your photos, you must be crazier about digital imaging than I am. (That would be pretty crazy.)
I am seeing photos that I had missed for years, buried in old folders because other wallpaper programs couldn’t display them properly. It has been a joy to have this running and see ALL my pictures again.
This program is not dead like most shareware. It is being updated by the author with new features and capabilities. TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be the last wallpaper program you spend time evaluating. It is a keeper.
